Pictures of the making of a custom longboard. Applying griptape evenly can be a difficult task on a longboard due to its length. It is common to find air bubbles littered beneath the griptape that has already been sealed onto the board. Here's a tip, don't de-grip sectionally to get rid of the bubbles, instead find a sharp sewing needle or pin and puncture the bubble. Flatten that part of the grip with the back of your fingernail or roller and you are set. |
