This board is absolutely awesome for city cruising or bombing the hills in style. The underside graphic of the board is a custom deck sprayed design, the top griptape is precision hand carved. In this piece, basic elements of line, form, space, texture and unity are incorporated around a point of interest. The character of line expresses the force creating it, whether it is naturally occuring or abstract. This is one of those art techniques where the more you look at it, the more it grows on you. Our griptape job is custom designed and besides the thought out art, the griptaping is also strategically placed to never sacrifice traction for the rider.
The griptape job on this board is hand carved. The board is Canadian Hardrock Maple and 11 ply steamed pressed. This is definatley a cruising and carving board with a concave in the deck which makes it an awesome ride.The complete process from hand carving to application and spraying the underside graphics takes over 15 hours.This makes a GREAT gift, especially for those who have everything as this limited edition custom board is the first made in the world so they are guaranteed to not have it.
